  2. Create an account — Sign up to unlock your personalized roadmap and property reports.
  3. Complete the AI onboarding chat — A short conversation collects your financial picture, home goal, and eligibility for grants and special programs.
  4. Use your roadmap — Get an actionable plan for credit, savings, debt, income, and mortgage prep tailored to your Home Date.
  5. Generate reports— When you find a specific property, use a credit to get a full 14-section report with a personalized "Should You Buy?" score.

Your Home Dateis an estimate of when you'll be financially ready to buy your target home.

  • Free & no signup: The Home Date calculator is a pure-math tool that runs entirely from your inputs. No credits, no account needed.
  • How it's calculated: We combine your current credit score, down payment, debt-to-income ratio, and savings rate against the mortgage requirements for your target home price.
  • Gaps drive your roadmap: If your finances fall short on any dimension — credit, savings, debt, or income — your roadmap will include a specific plan to close that gap.
  • Updates automatically: Each time you change your financial profile, your Home Date and roadmap refresh.

Your roadmap is a personalized, AI-generated action plan that turns your Home Date into concrete next steps. Every subscriber plan includes a live roadmap.

  • Not human advice: Answers are AI-generated. For legal, tax, or binding mortgage advice, consult a licensed professional.

How Credits Work
  • 1 credit = 1 report.
  • Single-purchase credits expire 30 days after purchase.
  • Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.
  • Extra reports are one-time purchases available to subscribers at a reduced rate ($4.99 Standard / $2.99 Pro).
  • Oldest expires first: When you generate a report, we use the credit closest to expiring.
Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade from Standard to Pro mid-cycle:

  • Prorated charge: Stripe charges only the difference for the days left in your current cycle.
  • Credit top-up:We add the difference in monthly credits to your balance immediately, up to the new plan's monthly cap. Example: Standard (5) with 3 remaining → upgrade to Pro → 3 + 25 = 28 credits available.
  • Anti-farming cap:Total active subscription credits cannot exceed the new plan's monthly allowance, so repeated upgrade/downgrade toggling cannot stack credits.
  • Next billing cycle:On renewal, you're charged the full new plan price and receive its full monthly credits.
Downgrading Your Plan

When you downgrade from Pro to Standard:

  • Stripe balance credit: Stripe issues a credit for the unused portion of the Pro price, which offsets your next invoice.
  • Keep existing credits: We do not remove credits you already have — you paid for them.
  • Next billing cycle:On renewal, you're charged the Standard price and receive Standard's monthly credits.
Canceling Your Subscription
  • Access until period ends: After canceling, you keep your plan benefits until the end of your current billing period.
  • No more charges:You won't be charged again after cancellation.
  • Credits expire at period end: Any remaining subscription credits expire when your period ends. Use them before that date.
  • Resume anytime: If you cancel then change your mind, you can click Resume Subscription on your billing page any time before the period ends.

To cancel, go to your Billing page and click "Manage Billing" to open the Stripe portal.

What is BuyReady.ai?

BuyReady.ai is an AI home buying agent. It estimates when you'll be ready to buy (your Home Date), gives you a step-by-step roadmap to get there, and generates full reports on specific properties.

How is this different from Zillow or Redfin?

Zillow and Redfin show listings. BuyReady.ai tells you when you can afford to buy, how to get there, and whether a specific property is a fit for your finances.

Is the Home Date calculator really free?

Yes. No account, no credits. It's a pure calculation from the numbers you enter. You only need an account for the roadmap and reports.

When do my credits expire?

Single-purchase credits expire 30 days after purchase. Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.

What happens to my credits if I cancel?

You can use remaining subscription credits until the end of your billing period. After that, unused subscription credits expire.

Can I switch plans more than once per month?

Yes, but each change is prorated by Stripe. Our credit top-up is capped at the new plan's monthly allowance so you can't stack credits by toggling plans.

If I edit my profile, will my old reports change?

No. Every report and roadmap saves a snapshot of the financial data used to generate it. Editing your profile only affects future reports and the next roadmap regeneration.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are final and non-refundable. This includes single report purchases and subscription payments. Questions? Email [email protected].

How do I update my payment method?

Go to your Billing page and click "Manage Billing" to update your card through the Stripe portal.

Is Personal Guidance the same as customer support?

No. Personal Guidance (Ask Expert) is an AI advisor that answers questions about your home buying plan. For account, billing, or technical issues, email [email protected].

How accurate is the data?

We pull from official sources (FBI, Census Bureau, FEMA, Freddie Mac) and reputable providers (RentCast, Walk Score, GreatSchools). Each section cites its sources. Data is cached for up to 30 days.

Why does my credit card statement show "BUYREADY.AI" or "Klyon Labs"?

BuyReady.ai is a product of Klyon Labs LLC. All payments are processed through Klyon Labs' Stripe account, so charges may appear on your statement as BUYREADY.AI (the product descriptor) and your receipt may show Klyon Labs LLC as the seller of record. Both refer to the same charge for your BuyReady.ai purchase.

Who do I email about a billing issue?
